This amazing little table was designed by the highly acclaimed British designer, maker and teacher John Makepeace OBE. He created it in the 1960’s it became one of John Makepeace’s first big commercial successes. The beauty is in the simplicity. The subtle design feature of placing the pine frame pieces at different levels is so clever, and works perfectly with the square shape. It is in good condition for it’s age with a small dent on a piece of wood under the glass. The glass shows minimal marks as does the black pads which support the glass. This is a rare chance to have an early John Makepeace design not to be missed!
